Staten Island University Hospital

Staten Island University Hospital has a student education program for medical students, which parallels to our Internal Medicine residency. Our student program runs in conjunction with SUNY Downstate to which we accommodate approximately 250 students yearly through various rotations. Core rotations available for AUC students include Internal Medicine (12 weeks), General Surgery (12 Weeks), OB/GYN (6 Weeks), Pediatrics (6 Weeks), and Family Practice (6 Weeks). Elective rotations available include Anesthesiology, Pain Management, Emergency Medicine, Ambulatory Medicine, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology/ Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Neurology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pulmonary ICU Pathology, and Ambulatory Care.
