Brooklyn Hospital Center
TheĀ Brooklyn Hospital Center is approved for the residency training by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). The purpose of Graduate Medical Education (GME) is to provide an organized educational program with guidance and supervision of the student/resident, facilitating the student/resident’s ethical, professional and personal development while ensuring safe and appropriate care for patients. The GME Center is located in the 7th floor of the Maynard Building. Core rotations available for AUC students include Internal Medicine (12 weeks), Surgery (12 Weeks), OB/GYN (6 Weeks), Pediatrics (6 Weeks), and Family Practice (6 Weeks). Elective rotations available are Emergency Medicine, Gastroenterology, Hematology/ Oncology, Pulmonary, and Oral Maxillo Facial Surgery.
