President – Ebi Okoro

• Please be aware that Security has sent out an email about checking ID’s on campus. This applies to faculty as well.
• Please send your group lists to Dr. Jarosinski so we have an account of how many students are in each organization on campus.

Historian- Aadhar Patil

• Posting of the white coat ceremony:
  • Currently posting the video on AUC scope, I have been having some uploading issues, but please know that I am working on it.

5^th Semester Representatives

• Nothing to report.

4^th Semester Representatives

• Halloween party October 29^th, 8pm-11pm it will be open only to AUC students, will be having a costume contest, the charge will be five dollars.
• Basketball tournament November 11^th at CIA pending if Phi Chi takes the date.

3^rd Semester Representatives

• Nothing to report

1^st Semester Representatives

• Making t-shirts for “funny quotes” about professors but we need approval from the professors.
  • Lou: if you use the AUC logo please make sure to get it approved.

Dr. Shupe:

• St Maarten day:
  • St Maarten will be celebrating its 1^st SXM day
  • November 11^th, 2011 be at the parade 3:30-4:00, we are looking for students to volunteer
• Purchasing flags for white coat
• Clubs that had Dr. Atchley as a faculty advisor: please be diligent and find a new advisor if you do not have one.

Dr. Jarosinski:

• A local high school student would like to take a tour around AUC, we are looking for student volunteers who may want to accompany this student.
• AUC students have been invited a SXM basketball tournament: Nov 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th, (not sure of the time)
  • Registration fee $100, it is an all male league but you can have females on your team
• We are thinking of having one day of the week when the cafeteria would be closed early and all student groups that are interested in selling food would be able to do so.
  • Brandon: it may conflict with other groups who may be selling at the time.

AMSA

• IV/phlebotomy workshop today at 7pm.
• Diabetes testing & HIV testing for CAD this Saturday at St. peters community center

AMWA

• Ice cream social this Friday, we are looking to selling old t shirts that we have in our  closet.
• Selling breast cancer awareness shirts for $15 dollars.
• Mr AUC : November 18^th,  2011

ASMA

• Not present.

Phi Chi

• Poker party last Friday raised $1000 for charity.
• We are still selling breast cancer ribbons, we may be possibly donating all the proceedings to the Positive Foundation.
• Wine and cheese: November 12, 2011. Purchase tickets before October 17^th $40, after $50

CMDA

• ICAN this past Saturday, Pizza Dan provided

SNMA

• Shawarma sale right now! They sold out fast last week, so we ordered more.

Diversity Council

• Diwali October 22^nd, 2011 at 6pm, will be having a presentation Pooja (prayer) in the MPR then having an afterparty at BBs.

MSA

• We are thinking about getting more involved with Alzheimers foundation.

JMSA

• We are currently planning a couple of events for the next couple of weeks.
• Planning a BBQ date and time TBA.

Spouses Organization

• Nothing to report

BGLAM

• Tie dye t-shirt event on November 11^th,  2011.

LMSA:

• Latin night was last Saturday, it went very well, thank you to those who came out to support the event.
• We also held elections last night- we now have a full eboard.
• We would like to bring back the Medical Spanish speaking workshops

CMSA:

• Very successful thanksgiving dinner this past Tuesday
• Hockey tournament this past Friday @ 2pm at CIA- donating to a charity

• Lou: can we get a new projector for Chertok?
